FINALTuran - Astana Tigers 55-38Turan smashed Astana Tigers to sweep the championship series. Turan forced 23 Astana Tigers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. The former international forward Zalina Kurazova (185-1985) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international center Anna Bezgodova (192-1992) who recorded 8 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Tamara Kuzmina (182-1990) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigers-KazATU clinched Cup title in Kazakhstan. They overcame Irtysh 73-49 to seal the trophy. Tigers-KazATU scored 18 points in the first and then the second frames to ensure the lead and closed the game with a final 16-5 surge. Daria Koroleva (182-F-1988) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Anna Bezgodova (192-C-1992) netted 20. Rauan Tutkishova (182-F-1991) replied with 20 points in a loss.
