Aktobe earned Higher League title. They overcame Kazygurt tonight to sweep the championship series. Konstantin Dvirniy (192-G/F-88) came up with 21 points to pace the champions.
Kazygurt dominated in the first half. They posted a 39:32 halftime lead. But Aktobe used an 18:6 run in the third period to pull ahead. They protected the lead throughout the fourth quarter to race to the trophy. Nikita Nalivaiko (197-F-99) had 17 points for the winners. Aleksei Vereshagin (197-F-92) replied with 34 points for Kazygurt.
