Hiba Malkawi will continue her college career at Mastodons

Purdue University Fort Wayne signed 22-year-old Jordanian ex-international 5-7 guard Hiba Malkawi for the upcoming season. She transferred from Southern Illinois University, where she played for only one year. In 22 games last season, she averaged just 1.7ppg and 1.0rpg.
She played also at Plano West in 2023 and then at Northeast Oklahoma A&M College during 2023-24.
Malkawi graduated from Plano West High School (Plano, TX) in 2022.
She also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup for Women Division B in Bangkok (Thailand) three years ago. Malkawi's team got to the Semifinals and she averaged 1 point per game.
