Al Faisaly dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Al Ashrafiyah's 28. They outrebounded Al Ashrafiyah 53-32 including a 41-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Faisaly players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Al Ashrafiyah's players. Canadian forward Ahmad Khazaleh (203, college: St.Clair) notched 28 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and point guard Ammar Bostami (180-1991) supported him with 5 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by Mohammad Al Buheiri did not help to save the game for Al Ashrafiyah. Mohammed Azaizeh added 9 points for the hosts.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
