Al-Fuheis Crowned Women's League Champions for the Fifth Time

Amman, January 25 — Shabab Al-Fuheis Club were crowned champions of the 27th edition of the Women’s League for the 2025-2026 season on Sunday, claiming their fifth consecutive title and fifth overall after sealing the Finals series with a clean sweep (3–0) against Orthodox Club.

Al-Fuheis wrapped up the series with wins of 88–62, 82–52, and 90–48. The Finals series was scheduled as a best-of-five, with the championship awarded to the first team to register three victories.

The awards ceremony was held at Prince Hamzah Hall, where the Jordan Basketball Federation’s Second Vice President Zain Hamzah and Secretary-General, attorney Mustafa Al-Louzi, presented medals and trophies to the top three teams. Shabab Al-Fuheis finished first, Orthodox Club placed second, and Contractors Club secured third place.

On the individual awards front, Shabab Al-Fuheis players dominated the honors. Liliana Abu Jbara was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) and top scorer, while Zekra Shehadeh claimed the Best Rebounder award. Abu Jbara also earned Best Three-Point Shooter, Maya Mar’i was named Best Steals leader, and Massa Al-Noubani received the Best Assists award.

In addition, Al-Fuheis players Massa Al-Noubani, Zekra Shehadeh, Janset Yaltchin, Zara Al-Najjar , and Liliana Abu Jbara were all selected to the tournament’s All-Star Five.
