Halums' 28 points and 8 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

28-year old USA-PALn guard Brian Halums (196-G-1997, agency: The Crew A.M.) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Al Faisaly and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had the game-high 28 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Al Faisaly in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Al Jubaiha (#4, 5-5) with 27-point margin 113-86. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Faisaly to consolidate first place in the Jordanian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Al Faisaly keeps a perfect 11-0 record. In the team's last game Halums had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Faisaly's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Arkansas Fort Smith graduate has very impressive stats this year. Halums is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.7ppg. Halums is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.7rpg), assists (6th best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 1.7bpg,2.7spg and 61.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jace Hogan (198-F-1996) of Al Jalil Irbid. He is American forward in his first season at Al Jalil. In the last game Hogan recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 19 rebounds. It was enough for Al Jalil to edge Shabab Bushra (2-7) by 2 points 61-59. This victory allowed Al Jalil to move up to 6th position in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Al Jalil managed to get this year. Hogan is a newcomer at Al Jalil and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.5ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 13.6rpg and 5.5apg. Former Jacksonville University star Hogan is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-G-1994) of league's second-best Amman United. Abuhawwas got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Amman United, leading his team to a 78-66 win against #3 ranked Al Wehdat in a game of the week. Many experts and fans count Amman United as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. Abuhawwas has a great season in Jordan. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.7ppg (8th best). Amin Abuhawwas has also Jordanian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player. Abuhawwas attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
