Al Fuheis - Orthodox 90-48

Al Fuheis are 2025/26 D1 champions. They swept Orthodox en route to the trophy. The decisive win came in the third game of the championship series. Al Fuheis forced 25 Orthodox turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Orthodox's players. It was a good game for American guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) who led her team to a victory with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). The former international center Thekra Shehadeh (198-2003) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Four Al Fuheis players scored in double figures. Al Fuheis' coach Nayef Asfour felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Shayla Golden (178, college: UWA) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and forward Nicole Khoury (175-2005) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Orthodox.
