International Guard Abdullah Olajuwon (195-G-2004) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Al Faisaly, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 21-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Al Wehdat (#4, 4-4) 80-67. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Faisaly to consolidate first place in the Jordanian Premier League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Al Faisaly keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Olajuwon had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Al Faisaly's top player in his first season with the team. Abdullah Olajuwon has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.3ppg), rebounds (9th best: 8.3rpg) and averages impressive 3.0spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jace Hogan (198-F-1996) of Al Jalil Irbid. Hogan had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Jalil lost that game 69-77 to slightly higher-ranked Al Iglizia (#5, 3-4). Despite lost game Al Jalil moved up to 6th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Al Jalil managed to get this year. Hogan is a newcomer at Al Jalil, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 30.3ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 13.5rpg and 5.7apg. Former Jacksonville University star Hogan is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was Palestinian Yousef Albabeish (2004) of Al Jubaiha (#3). Albabeish showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 16 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Jubaiha, leading his team to a 103-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Al Ashrafiyah (#7, 2-6). Al Jubaiha needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Albabeish has a great season in Jordan. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.4rpg (6th best).
