28-year old USA-PALn guard Brian Halums (196-G-1997, agency: The Crew A.M.) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Al Faisaly and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds and six assists for Al Faisaly in his team's victory, helping them to crush Shabab Bushra (#8, 1-5) with 18-point margin 89-71. It allowed Al Faisaly to consolidate first place in the Jordanian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Faisaly already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Halums had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Faisaly's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Arkansas Fort Smith graduate has very impressive stats this year. Halums is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.2ppg. Halums is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 12.3rpg), assists (5th best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg,3.3spg,61.8% FGP and 43.2% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Jace Hogan (198-F-1996) of Al Jalil Irbid. He is American forward in his first season at Al Jalil. In the last game Hogan recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Jalil lost that game 54-76 to slightly higher-ranked Al Ashrafiyah (2-4). This loss caused Al Jalil to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Hogan is a newcomer at Al Jalil and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.0ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 12.8rpg and 5.2apg. Former Jacksonville University star Hogan is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Eric Kibi (198-F-1990) of Al Ashrafiyah (#6). Kibi showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Ashrafiyah, leading his team to a 76-54 easy win against Al Jalil (2-4). The chances of Al Ashrafiyah not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kibi could try to bring Al Ashrafiyah's a little bit higher in the standings. Kibi has individually a great season in Jordan. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 16.4rpg (#1 in league).
