American-Palestinian Brian Halums (196-G-1997, agency: The Crew A.M.) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Al Faisaly and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 46 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Amman United (#2, 4-1) 89-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Faisaly to consolidate first place in the Jordanian Premier League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Faisaly already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Halums had a remarkable nine three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Al Faisaly's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Arkansas Fort Smith graduate has very impressive stats this year. Halums is in league's top in points (2nd best: 30.2ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.2rpg), assists (7th best: 5.2apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg,3.4spg,63.6% FGP and 44.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Jace Hogan (198-F-1996) of Al Jalil Irbid. Hogan impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 39 points and 22 rebounds. Of course Al Jalil cruised to a 80-70 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Al Jubaiha (#3, 3-2). This victory allowed Al Jalil to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Hogan is a newcomer at Al Jalil and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.5ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 12.8rpg and 6.0apg. Jacksonville University alumni Hogan played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was DR Congolese Eric Kibi (198-F-1990) of Al Ashrafiyah (#7). Kibi showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Kibi's great performance the Al Ashrafiyah lost 71-95 to the higher-ranked Al Wehdat (#4, 2-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Al Ashrafiyah can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Kibi has individually a great season in Jordan. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 16.3rpg (#1 in league).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
