American-Palestinian Guard Brian Halums (196-G-1997, agency: The Crew A.M.) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Al Faisaly, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Al Ashrafiyah (#7, 1-4) with 41-point margin 96-55. It allowed Al Faisaly to consolidate first place in the Jordanian Premier League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Faisaly already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Bad luck as Al Ashrafiyah lost that game 55-96 to Al Faisaly (5-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Kibi is a newcomer at Al Ashrafiyah, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.3ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 16.3rpg and 3.5apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was British forward Joshua Apple (201-F-1998) of Al Jubaiha (#3). Apple showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Jubaiha, leading his team to a 66-56 win against Shabab Bushra (#8, 1-4). Al Jubaiha needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Apple has a great season in Jordan. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.6ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 10.2rpg (4th best).
