Hogan's 36-point game gives him Player of the Week award

29-year old American forward Jace Hogan (198-F-1996) had a great game in the last round for Al Jalil Irbid and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Al Jalil in his team's victory, helping them to beat Shabab Bushra (#8, 1-4) 80-67. Al Jalil is placed at 6th position in Jordanian league. Al Jalil is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Hogan had a remarkable 65.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Jalil's top player in his first season with the team. Jacksonville University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hogan is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.5ppg. Hogan is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 12.8rpg), assists (4th best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 3.8spg and 57.7% FGP. Worth to mention Hogan played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Eric Kibi (198-F-1990) of Al Ashrafiyah. He is DR Congolese-Canadian forward in his first season at Al Ashrafiyah. In the last game Kibi recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Ashrafiyah lost that game 50-74 to slightly higher-ranked Al Iglizia (#5, 2-3). This loss caused Al Ashrafiyah to drop to 7th position in the standings. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Al Ashrafiyah managed to get this year. Kibi is a newcomer at Al Ashrafiyah and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.3ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 16.3rpg and 3.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Brian Halums (196-G-1997, agency: The Crew A.M.) of league's leader Al Faisaly. Halums scored 21 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Al Faisaly, leading his team to a 88-71 easy win against #3 ranked Al Jubaiha in a game of the week. Al Faisaly started extremely well this year. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game. Halums turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Halums has a great season in Jordan. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.2ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 13.2rpg (2nd best) and assists with 5.2apg (7th best).
