American-Palestinian Brian Halums (196-G-1997, agency: The Crew A.M.) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Al Faisaly and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 28-year old guard had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Al Faisaly in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Al Ashrafiyah (#7, 1-3) with 41-point margin 96-55. It allowed Al Faisaly to consolidate first place in the Jordanian Premier League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Faisaly already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Halums had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Al Faisaly's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Arkansas Fort Smith graduate has very impressive stats this year. Halums is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.8rpg), assists (9th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg,3.0spg and 68.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young DR Congolese forward Eric Kibi (198-F-1990) of Al Ashrafiyah. Kibi impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Ashrafiyah lost that game 55-96 to Al Faisaly (4-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Kibi is a newcomer at Al Ashrafiyah and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.0ppg (#4). He also registered 16.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was British Joshua Apple (201-F-1998) of Al Jubaiha (#3). Apple showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Jubaiha, leading his team to a 66-56 win against #4 ranked Shabab Bushra in a game of the week. Al Jubaiha needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Apple has a great season in Jordan. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.3ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 11.3rpg (4th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
