Jordanian Premier League round 2 best performance: Eric Kibi

DR Congolese-Canadian Forward Eric Kibi (198-F-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for Al Ashrafiyah, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 23 rebounds, while his team edged out Shabab Bushra (1-2) 101-99. Al Ashrafiyah maintains the 5th position in Jordanian Premier League. Al Ashrafiyah is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. Kibi turned to be Al Ashrafiyah's top player in his first season with the team. Former Abilene Christian University star has very solid stats this year. Kibi is in league's top in points (3rd best: 26.5ppg).

The second best player in last round's games was young British Joshua Apple (201-F-1998) of league's second-best Al Jubaiha. Apple had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Al Jubaiha to edge Al Wehdat (1-2) 71-68. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Apple is a newcomer at Al Jubaiha, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#5). He also registered 10.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Israel Lockamy (178-PG, agency: Bell Basketball) of Shabab Bushra (#4). Lockamy got into 30-points club by scoring 51 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. Despite Lockamy's great performance the Shabab Bushra lost 99-101 to Al Ashrafiyah (1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Shabab Bushra not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lockamy could try to bring Shabab Bushra's a little bit higher in the standings. Lockamy has individually a great season in Jordan. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.5ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.0apg (9th best).
