Alexandr Kurbatov (ex Al Wehdat) signs at Stade Nabeulien

Alexandr Kurbatov

Newly promoted Stade Nabeulien (ProA) signed 28-year-old Russian 208cm power forward Alexandr Kurbatov, who was previously with Al Wehdat in the Jordanian Premier League. Last season, he played for BC Irkut Irkutsk in the Russian Superleague, averaging 6.0ppg and 1.5rpg in 12 games.
He has played previously in Jordan and Russia (Khimki, Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Dzerzhinsk, Zenit Saint Petersburg 2nd team, and CSKA Moscow 2nd team).
Kurbatov's team reached the Superleague 1 Semifinals in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Russian Superleague 1 Honorable Mention in 2022.
