Malek Kanaan agreed terms with Al Wihdat

Al Wihdat Amman (Premier League) signed 32-year-old international 182cm guard Malek Kanaan (college: W.Valley JC) for upcoming season 2025-2026

He played last season at Orthodox (Premier League) . During the previous (2024) summer, he played at another Jordanian team Philadelphia in League of Talents where in 23 games he recorded 13.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 6.3apg, and 1.8spg in 2024. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A great season indeed as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League of Talents Honorable Mention

Kanaan has also been a member of the Jordanian international program for some years. He has regularly played for

the Jordanian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2010.

Kanaan also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) this year. Kanaan's team won Silver and he had over 1 ppg.

He has played previously for three other teams: Al Ahli, Al Riyadi, and Al Jubaiha.

Kanaan graduated from West Valley College in 2014 and it'll be his 12th season in pro basketball.
