Al Wihdat welcomes back Alhendi

Ashraf Alhendi

Al Wihdat Amman (Jordan-Premier League) has signed 30-year-old international 190cm guard Ashraf Alhendi.

Alhendi is not new to the Jordanian League, having most recently played for Al Ahli (Premier League).

During the previous (2024) summer, he played for another Jordanian team, Rum in Jordanian talents League). In 28

games, he averaged 14.0ppg, 6.1rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.7spg in 2024. Alhendi helped Rum win the league title, despite finishing the regular season in second place. It was a successful year for him, earning recognition in the Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League of Talents Honorable Mention, All-Domestic Players Team, and League Player of the Week (2 times).

Alhendi also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers this year. His team won Silver and he averaged over 3 ppg.

He has played also in Iraq (Nift Al-Shamal) and between Iraq.
