Mohammad Shaher is a newcomer at Al Faisaly

Mohammad Hussein

Al Faisaly ( (Premier League ) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 35-year-old international center Mohammad Hussein (210cm-117kg-1990).

Shaher missed last season but in 2024 summer, he played at another Jordanian team, Pella in Jordanian talent League , where in 16 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 8.6rpg, 3.2apg, 1.3spg, and 1.1bpg in 2024. He helped them make it to the semifinals, a very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League of Talents Honorable Mention.

Shaher has been a member of the Jordanian international program for several years. He has played for the Jordanian senior team since 2010 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2008.

Hussein also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers this year. His team won Silver and he had an average of almost 4 points per game.

He is a very experienced player. Hussein has played in Iraq (Al Karkh), Morocco (FUS Rabat), Jordan (Orthodox, Al Ahli, Al Wihdat, Zain, and Al Awdah), and Saudi Arabia (Al Arabi).
