Al Jubaiha lands Hani Al-Faraj

Al Jubaiha (Premier League) signed 37-year-old ex-international 195cm shooting guard Hani Al-Faraj. He is a well-known player in the Jordanian Premier League and most recently played at Orthodox (Premier League). In 23 games, he averaged 2.8ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.8apg, and 1.3spg during the 2022-23 season, helping them win the cup and reach the league final. Al-Faraj also played 4 games in the West Asia Super League, with only 0.8ppg and 1.3rpg during the 2022-23 season. The previous summer (2022), he played for another Jordanian team, Al Wihdat Amman.
He also represented Jordan at the Asian Championship in Changsha-Hunan (China) nine years ago. During this event he scored an average of 2 ppg and had 1.3 rpg.
Al-Faraj has spent his entire career in Jordan playing for four other teams: Al Ahli, Ittihad Schools, Kofer Yoba, and Kulliyeh.
Among many awards, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic 3-Point Shooter of the Year in 2022. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Jubaiha.
