Amman United welcomes Alhamarsheh

Alhamarsheh played this summer at Gerasa in the League of Talents. In 25 games just recently he averaged 12.8ppg, 10.9rpg (#5 in the league), 2.9apg and 1.0spg. D2 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very good year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Jordanian League of Talents All-Domestic Players Team, League Player of the Week and Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League of Talents Second Team.
Alhamarsheh has been also a member of Jordanian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Jordanian senior team since 2010 and previously for U18 National Team in 2008.
Alhamarsheh represented Jordan at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 4.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.2apg, 1.2spg.
He has played previously professionally also in Iraq (Al Kahraba) and Jordan (Orthodox, Al Ahli, Al Wihdat, Al Riyadi and Zain). Alhamarsheh won Jordanian League championship title in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017. He was selected to Asia-Basket.com Jordanian Premier League All-Domestic Players Team in 2022 and 2023.
Alhamarsheh is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Amman United.
