Ahmad Hamarsheh joins Amman United

Amman United ( Jordanian Premier League) agreed terms with experienced 36-year-old Jordanian international forward Ahmad Hamarsheh (197cm-93kg-1987) to play in the upcoming Jordanian Premier League season 2024-2025

He played last season at Al Kahraba in the Iraqi Superleague and in Gerasa in the League of Talents

He has also been a member of the Jordanian international program for some years. Hamarsheh has regularly played for the Jordanian senior team since 2010 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2008.
He also represented Jordan at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. Hamarsheh's team won Silver and he had almost 5 ppg.

Hamarsheh has spent his entire career in Iraq playing for seven other teams: Orthodox, Al Ahli, Al Wihdat, Al Riyadi, Zain, Kofer Yoba and Al Riyadi.

Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Jordanian League in 2021. He was also voted the Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic Rebounder of the Year in 2022. Hamarsheh is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Amman United.
