Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rum made 9 blocks. It was a great evening for international forward Hashem Abbas (198-1999, college: Bridgeport) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. American guard Hunter Strait (188-2000, college: Truman St.) helped adding 21 points. Four Rum players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard BJ Maxwell (194-1997, college: IUPUI) with 30 points and 7 rebounds and Ahmad Alhamarsheh produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds.

It was a quality performance for the former international point guard Fadi Qarmash (180-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Croatian power forward Josip Mikulic (215-1993, college: Fairfield, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 21 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side. International center Mohammad Shaher (210-1990) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and American power forward Devin Gilmore (200-1997, college: Murray St.) added 28 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Pella in the defeat.
