Rum dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Pella's 20. Rum players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Pella's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. International forward Hashem Abbas (198-1999, college: Bridgeport) nailed a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international guard Ashraf Alhendi (190-1995) accounted for 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Ahmad Hassouneh (185-1996) came up with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Devin Gilmore (200-1997, college: Murray St.) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Pella in the defeat. Four Rum and five Pella players scored in double figures.

Gerasa - Philadelphia 89-83

Gerasa dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Philadelphia's 32. They outrebounded Philadelphia 53-40 including 16 on the offensive glass. American point guard Byron Maxwell (175-1993, college: LeMoyne-Owen) stepped up and scored 30 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and the former international center Yousef Abuwazaneh (201-1993) chipped in 21 points and 16 rebounds. Maxwell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Gerasa's coach Zaid Al-Sahouri used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Croatian power forward Josip Mikulic (215-1993, college: Fairfield, agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Fadi Qarmash (180-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds.
