Hashem Abbas was the tied top scorer in the whole world yesterday having an unbelievable 38 points in his last game in Rum- July 13, 202438 points scored by 26 year old Palestinian forward Hashem Abbas (198-F-1999, college: Bridgeport) resulted in being the tied highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team Rum beat the Gerasa 85 to 84. On top of that he also recorded 14 rebounds and 9 assists that evening. He is the 3rd best scorer in the league averaging almost 25 points and almost 11 rebounds per game. As evident, the league is predominantly led by former college players, with 9 out of the 10 scorers having graduated from US schools.
He has played also professionally in Qatar and Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal). He also represented Jordan at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year.
