Jordanian Premier League round 19 best performance: Gregoryshon Magee

American Power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-F/C-1990) had a great game in the last round for Petra, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 34-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Rum (#3, 13-7) 76-64. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Petra maintains the 4th position in Jordanian Premier League. Petra is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-9 record. Magee has many years of experience at Petra, through which he has constantly improved. Former University of South Alabama star has very solid stats this year. Magee is in league's top in points (6th best: 20.8ppg) and averages impressive 66.2% FGP. Worth to mention Magee played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second best player in last round's games was young Palestinian forward Hashem Abbas (198-F-1999) of Rum. Abbas had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Rum cruised to a 91-83 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Arabella (#6, 6-13). Rum's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 13-7 record is not bad at all. Abbas is one of the most experienced players at Rum and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.1ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 10.6rpg and 4.9apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Byron Maxwell (175-PG-1993) of league's top team Geresa. Maxwell got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and five assists. Despite Maxwell's great performance the Geresa lost 77-84 to the lower-ranked Pella (#5, 8-12). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Maxwell has a great season in Jordan. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.9ppg (4th best) and assists with 6.2apg (4th best). Maxwell attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

10. Hunter Strait (188-G-2000) of Rum - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
