Egbuta's 38-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old American forward Emmanuel Egbuta (201-F-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Arabella and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had the game-high 38 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for Arabella in his team's victory, helping them to crush Petra (#4, 10-8) with 18-point margin 97-79. Arabella maintains the 6th position in Jordanian league. Arabella is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-11 record. In the team's last game Egbuta had a remarkable 52.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Arabella, through which he has constantly improved. Tennessee State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Egbuta is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.9ppg), rebounds (4th best: 11.2rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 55.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ahmad Hammouri (194-F/G-2003) of Pella. He is international swingman in his first season at Pella. In the last game Hammouri recorded an impressive 41 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Pella to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Petra (#4, 10-8) 106-57. Pella's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Hammouri is one of the most experienced players at Pella and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.7ppg (#9). He also registered 4.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Pella's star - forward Devin Gilmore (200-F/C-1997). Gilmore showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Pella, helping his team with a 106-57 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Petra (#4, 10-8). Gilmore has individually a great season in Jordan. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (7th best).
