Naturalized American Forward Zane Najdawi (201-F-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Philadelphia and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Rum (#3, 10-5) 88-77. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Philadelphia maintains the 2nd position in Jordanian Premier League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Philadelphia will need more victories to improve their 11-4 record. In the team's last game Najdawi had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Philadelphia, through which he has constantly improved. The Citadel graduate has very impressive stats this year. Najdawi is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.0ppg), rebounds (5th best: 10.1rpg) and averages solid 59.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Emmanuel Egbuta (201-F-1996) of Arabella. Egbuta impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Arabella lost that game 82-98 to slightly higher-ranked Pella (5-10). Arabella is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-10 record. Egbuta is one of the most experienced players at Arabella and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.8ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 11.4rpg and 3.1apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Byron Maxwell (175-PG-1993) of top-ranked Geresa. Maxwell got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds and six assists. Despite Maxwell's great performance the Geresa lost 88-103 to #4 ranked Petra. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Maxwell has a great season in Jordan. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.8ppg (4th best) and assists with 6.4apg (4th best). Maxwell attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
