Najdawi's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old American Jordanian forward Zane Najdawi (201-F-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Philadelphia and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Pella (#5, 5-9) 86-78. Philadelphia maintains the 2nd position in Jordanian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Philadelphia will need more victories to improve their 11-3 record. In the team's last game Najdawi had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Philadelphia, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The Citadel graduate has very impressive stats this year. Najdawi is in league's top in points (8th best: 20.0ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 58.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Yousef Abuwazaneh (201-C-1993) of top-ranked Geresa. He is international center in his first season at Geresa. In the last game Abuwazaneh recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 19 rebounds. Of course Geresa cruised to a 83-72 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Arabella (#6, 5-9). Of course Geresa still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 12 matches. Abuwazaneh is one of the most experienced players at Geresa and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Hunter Strait (188-G-2000) of Rum (#3). Strait showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Rum, leading his team to a 90-81 win against #4 ranked Petra in a game of the week. Strait has a great season in Jordan. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.8ppg (4th best) and assists with 7.0apg (2nd best). He also has 3.7spg and a FGP of 52.0%.
