Burnett's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

28-year old American guard Patrick Burnett (193-G-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Ayla and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Pella (#6, 4-8) 87-86. Ayla maintains the 8th position in Jordanian league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 11 games and recorded just one victory. Burnett just recently signed at Ayla, being already a very valuable addition to the team. York College, NE graduate has very impressive stats this year. Burnett is league's best scorer averaging so far 34.3ppg. Burnett is in league's top in and averages solid 2.8spg and 54.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ahmad Hammouri (194-F/G-2003) of Pella. He is international swingman in his first season at Pella. In the last game Hammouri recorded an impressive 46 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Pella was edged by slightly lower-ranked Ayla (#8, 1-11) 87-86. This loss caused Pella to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Hammouri is one of the most experienced players at Pella and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#9). He also registered 4.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Zane Najdawi (201-F-1996) of league's second-best Philadelphia. Najdawi scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Philadelphia, leading his team to a 81-69 win against the lower-ranked Arabella (#5, 5-7). Najdawi has a great season in Jordan. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.6ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 9.8rpg (7th best). Zane Najdawi has also Jordanian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
