Jordanian Premier League round 10 best performance: Hunter Strait (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Hunter Strait (188-G-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for Rum, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (41 points, five rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Arabella (#6, 4-6) 100-94. Rum maintains the 4th position in Jordanian Premier League. Rum is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team's last game Strait had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He just recently signed at Rum, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Truman State University star has very solid stats this year. Strait is in league's top in points (6th best: 20.3ppg), assists (3rd best: 7.0apg) and averages impressive 4.2spg and 51.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Patrick Burnett (193-G-1995) of Ayla. Burnett had a very good evening with 37 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Ayla lost that game 69-79 to the higher-ranked Philadelphia (#1, 9-2). Ayla are still at the very bottom. 10 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Burnett is one of the most experienced players at Ayla and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 34.9ppg (#1). He also registered 6.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Emmanuel Egbuta (201-F-1996) of Arabella (#6). Egbuta showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Egbuta's great performance the Arabella lost 94-100 to slightly higher-ranked Rum (#4, 6-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Egbuta has a great season in Jordan. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.1rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.5bpg and a FGP of 52.7%.
