Houda Hamrouni (ex Qurain) signs at Al Ittihad

Houda Hamrouni

Al Ittihad (D1) landed 29-year old Tunisian ex-international 188cm swingman Houda Hamrouni. She already started the season at Qurain in Kuwaiti D1 league. She also played for Sabis in Iraqi league.

She was a member of Tunisian international program for some years. She was called to Tunisian Senior National Team between 2017 and 2021 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2012.

She is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and Africa). She has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Bapco), Iraq, Jordan (Al Riyadi), Slovenia (Celje), Tunisia (ES Cap Bon, CSP Circulacion and Ezzahra Sport) and Saudi Arabia (Jeddah Utd).

Among many awards her team made it to the Arab Club Championships Semifinals in 2022. She was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian D1 League Best Blocker of the Year in 2022.
