Jordan conquered Group B with a perfect record beating Kazakhstan at the Division B of the Asia Cup 2023. They advanced to the Semifinals after a 74-54 win. Jordan grabbed a 19-18 lead and had 1-point halftime advantage. The team pushed the tempo in the third quarter after a 21-13 surge. Both teams nailed 21 points each in the last stanza.
Aisha Sheppard (175-G-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Green Sports Management) was unstoppable with 38 points for the winners, while Marya Al Hinn (178-F-1998) nailed 17. Tamara Kuzmina-Yagodkina (182-F-1990) replied with 20 points in the losing case.
