Jordan handed Ivory Coast their first loss at the Viana do Castelo Tournament. They posted a 74-71 win for a 1-1 record, whilst Ivory Coast dropped at 2-1. Jordan secured a 25-17 lea dat the start and led 8 points at the halftime. Ivory Coast replied with a massive 23-14 run in the third quarter, however fell short at the end. Jordan closed the game with a final 21-17 rally to seal the win.
Sami Bzai (190-G-1994, college: SE Oklahoma) top-scored for the winners with 21 points and Dwairi Ahmad produced 15. Maxence Dadiet (192-PG-1999) and Bazoumana Kone (194-G-1993, college: Bremerhaven, agency: SLN) replied with 13 points each in a loss.
