The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Amman: Al Ahli (#2) and Al Riyadi (#3). Al Ahli (7-1) won against visiting Al Riyadi (4-4) 97-85. American forward Gerard Tarin (206-1996, college: Nova SE) chipped in 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Brandon Spearman (191-1991, college: Hawaii) who recorded 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al Ahli have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 7-1 record behind leader Orthodox. Al Riyadi at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Al Ahli's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Amman Orthodox.

Darrin Dorsey contributed with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Ammar Al Omare answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for Kofer Yoba. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Orthodox (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Kofer Yoba at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Undefeated leader Orthodox delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Kofer Yoba (2-6) 134-62 in Amman. Orthodox dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Kofer Yoba's 40. Orthodox forced 32 Kofer Yoba turnovers and outrebounded them 55-38 including 21 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 45 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Kofer Yoba's players.
