Freddy Ibrahim's triple-double lands him Player of the Week award

Naturalized Canadian Guard Freddy Ibrahim (190-G-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Orthodox, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 26-year old player recorded a triple-double of 27 points adding also 10 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team beat Al Ashrafiyah (#6, 0-8), the league's bottom-ranked team 99-86. It allowed Orthodox to consolidate first place in the Jordanian Premier League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Orthodox keeps a perfect 8-0 record. Ibrahim turned to be Orthodox's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Tampa star has very solid stats this year. Ibrahim is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.5ppg) and averages impressive 2.8spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Terrence Joyner (190-G-1988) of Al Ashrafiyah. Joyner had a very good evening with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Bad luck as Al Ashrafiyah lost that game 86-99 to league's leader Orthodox (#1, 8-0). Al Ashrafiyah are still at the very bottom. 8 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Joyner is a newcomer at Al Ashrafiyah, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.6ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 3.4apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Orthodox's star - American guard Darrin Dorsey (188-PG-1987). Dorsey showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was another key player of Orthodox, helping his team with a 99-86 easy win against Al Ashrafiyah (#6, 0-8). Orthodox have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Dorsey turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. The season just started for Dorsey as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.
