Al-Ashrafiyah (Premier League) added to their roster experienced 34-year old American guard Terrence Joyner (190cm-90kg-1988, college: MVSU). Joyner played last summer at Purple & Black (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. But in two TBT games he did not score anything and had only 1 assist. The last season he played at Al Hilla (Superleague) in Iraqi league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.

Joyner is quite experienced player. Joyner's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Joyner has played previously professionally in Greece (Panelefsiniakos), Lithuania, Mexico (Mineros), Qatar (Al Khor), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal, Al Nassr and Ittihad) and Mongolia (Bayankhongor and Govi-Altai Mon Torkh).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in Mongolian Superleague in 2016. He was voted to Mongolian MNBA All-Star Game back in 2014.

Joyner graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 2012 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.

On Joyner: A combo guard with an excellent skill set. Swings easily between the shooting guard and the point guard spot. Really has unlimited range on his jump shot and continues to work ih the off-season. Very quick with the ball and his size makes him an excellent post up option against smaller guards. Will destroy teams who give him space and a great slasher to the basket. Has excellent court vision and will find open teammates and really press the action when necessary. Not afraid to take the shot with everything on the line and routinely pulls up from well past the 3pt arc to bury deep jumpers. A great combo guard selection for any team and is capable to play at the highest levels.
