Orthodox-Amman (Premier League) landed 32-year old international 210cm center Mohammad Hussein for new season. Hussein played most recently at Al Wihdat.


In 20 Premier League games he averaged 14.3ppg, 8.6rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3spg and 1.3bpg last season. He helped them to win the league title. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Center of the Year and voted to All-Domestic Players Team.

The previous (2020-21) season he played at Al Ahli where in 17 Premier League games he had very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 10.2rpg (#5 in the league), 1.9apg, 1.8spg and 1.6bpg in that year. Hussein contributed to his team winning the Cup. He can count that season as a very successful as was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Finals MVP.


Hussein has been also a member of Jordanian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Jordanian senior team since 2010 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008.

Hussein represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta (Indonesia) this year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 3.7ppg, 2.3rpg.

He has played also professionally in Morocco (FUS Rabat), Jordan (Zain, Al Awdah and ASU Sports Club) and Saudi Arabia (Al Arabi).
