Abuwazaneh is back at Al Riyadi

Al-Riyadi-Amman signed 29-year old international center Yousef Abuwazaneh (201cm-1993). It is actually his comeback to Amman as he has played here before. Abuwazaneh has played for the last two seasons at Al Wihdat in the Premier League. In 21 games he had 5.6ppg, 10.7rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.9apg last season. D1 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the league title. 2021-22 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Third Team.
Abuwazaneh also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta (Indonesia) this year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 0pts, 1.6rpg.
He has played previously for two other teams: Orthodox and Al Riyadi.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-William Jones Cup Honorable Mention back in 2019.
