Hani Al-Faraj

Orthodox-Amman (Premier League) added to their roster experienced 35-year old ex-international shooting guard Hani Al-Faraj (195cm-80kg-1987) for season 2022-23.

It is actually his comeback to Amman as he has played here before. Al-Faraj played last season at Al Wihdat (Premier League). In 20 games he recorded 4.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to win the league title.

Quite impressive season as he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic 3-Point Shooter of the Year and selected to Honorable Mention.

The previous (2020-21) season he played at Al Ahli where in 17 Premier League games he averaged 4.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.4spg in that year. Al-Faraj contributed to his team winning the Cup.

He also represented Jordan at the Asian Championship in Changsha-Hunan (China) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 2.0ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.0apg.

Al-Faraj has spent his entire career in Jordan playing for three other teams: Ittihad Schools, Kofer Yoba and Kulliyeh.
