Aishah Sutherland

Orthodox Amman (D1) tabbed 32-year old American (has also Belizean passport) 187cm forward Aishah Sutherland (college: Kansas)to play for the team in the upcoming Arab Club Championships.

Sutherland played most recently at MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec in Polish EBLK. In 17 games she averaged 14.6ppg, 8.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg (in top 5) last season.

She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. Sutherland is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues.

She has played previously professionally also in Chile (Leones), France (Roche), Israel (Maccabi Bnot Ashdod and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion), Italy, Korea (Woori Bank and Blue Minx), Latvia (TTT Riga), Lebanon (Al Riyadi) and Spain (Gernika and Araski).

Among many awards she won Latvian LSBL championship title in 2017. Sutherland received Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com Latvian-Estonian LSBL Import Player of the Year award back in 2017.

She graduated from University of Kansas in 2012 and it will be her eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
