Samoa advanced to the Semifinals at the U18 Women Asian Championship Division B. They overcame Jordan 61-55 in the Quarterfinal clash. Trailing 2 points at the halftime, Samoa needed a 22-13 surge to seal the win.
Malia Ruud (188-C-2006) stepped up with 18 points and 15 rebounds, whilst Kira-May Filemu (178-F-2006) had 15. Phoebe Datson (170-G-2005) replied with 20 in a loss and SARA ABU SHAMEH brought 13.
