Premier League Round 3 of Semi-Finals. Al Wihdat and Orthodox reach Finals

Al Wihdat - Al Jubaiha 76-68

Al Wihdat held off Al Jubaiha to sweep the series. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Anthony Miles (184-1989, college: Lamar) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Ashraf Al-Hendi (190-1995) accounted for 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Al Wihdat players scored in double figures. American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-1990, college: USA) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 22 rebounds and the former international Khaled Abuaboud (202-1997) added 13 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for Al Jubaiha in the defeat. Al Jubaiha's coach Yousef Abu Baker tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.

Orthodox - Al Ahli 74-66

Orthodox toppled Al Ahli and secured the Finals berth. It was a great evening for the former international forward Zaid Abbas (203-1983) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Senegalese forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-1987, college: Cincinnati, agency: BIG) helped adding 12 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Kerwin Roach II (192-96, college: Texas) with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Yousef Al-Awamleh scored 2 points and 13 rebounds. Al Ahli's coach Osama Daghles rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
