Orthodox held off Al Ahli to open the lead. Orthodox forced 25 Al Ahli turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. International guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-1994, college: Mars Hill) stepped up and scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and international guard Malek Kanaan (182-1993, college: W.Valley JC) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Abuhawwas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Orthodox's coach Samer Nino used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international guard Mousa Alawadi (188-1985) responded with 21 points and international forward Ahmad Alhamarsheh (197-86) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds.
