The most interesting game of round 4 was a home defeat of 3rd ranked Al Ahli (10-4) by first ranked Al Wihdat (11-3) who outscored them by 34 points 87-53 in the game for the first place. It ended the three-game winning streak of Al Ahli. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Al Ahli 47-36 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Anthony Miles (184-1989, college: Lamar) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international point guard Mahmoud Abdeen (191-1987) who added 27 points during the contest. At the losing side Yousef Al-Awamleh responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al Wihdat have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-3 record. Defending champion Al Ahli dropped to the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Orthodox.
Important game to mention about took place in Al Jubaiha. Fourth ranked Al Jubaiha (4-10) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging much higher ranked Orthodox (10-4) 92-90 on Friday evening. The winners were led by American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-1990, college: USA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and Khaled Abuaboud supported him with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 26 points and 6 assists by international guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-1994, college: Mars Hill) did not help to save the game for Orthodox. Orthodox's coach Samer Nino rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al Jubaiha maintains fourth position with 4-10 record. Orthodox lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Al Ahli.



Al Jubaiha - Orthodox 92-90

Important game to mention about took place in Al Jubaiha. Fourth ranked Al Jubaiha (4-10) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging much higher ranked Orthodox (10-4) 92-90 on Friday evening. The winners were led by American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-1990, college: USA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and the former international Khaled Abuaboud (202-1997) supported him with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Magee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 26 points and 6 assists by international guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-1994, college: Mars Hill) did not help to save the game for Orthodox. International guard Malek Kanaan (182-1993, college: W.Valley JC) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Four Orthodox players scored in double figures. Orthodox's coach Samer Nino rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al Jubaiha maintains fourth position with 4-10 record. Orthodox lost third consecutive game.
