Jordanian Premier League round 2 best performance: Gregoryshon Magee (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-F/C-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for Al Jubaiha, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Al Jalil (#5, 0-2) with 18-point margin 79-61. Al Jubaiha is placed at 4th position in Jordanian Premier League. Al Jubaiha is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Magee turned to be Al Jubaiha's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of South Alabama star has very solid stats this year. Magee is in league's top in points (3rd best: 22.5ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 14.5rpg) and averages impressive 5.0bpg and 77.8% FGP. Worth to mention Magee played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old American Antoine Mason (191-G-92, agency: Interperformances) of league's second-best Al Wihdat. Mason had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 13 assists. Of course he led Al Wihdat to another comfortable win outscoring Orthodox (1-1) 101-70. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Mason is a newcomer at Al Wihdat, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.5rpg and 8.0apg. Former Auburn University star Mason is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward James Currington III (201-F-95) of Kofer Yoba (#6). Currington III scored 22 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Currington III's great performance Kofer Yoba lost 77-91 to Al Ahli (#1, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kofer Yoba can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Currington III has a very solid season. In 2 games in Jordan he scored 19.0ppg.
