Al Jalil Irbid (Premier League) signed experienced 38-year old Jordanian ex-international forward Khaldon Ruqayah (203cm-98kg) for upcoming 2021-22 season. The last season he played at Al Jubaiha in Jordanian Premier League where in 17 games he had 7.5ppg and 4.8rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Ruqayah also represented Jordan at the Asian Games in Incheon (South Korea) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 2 games: 1.0ppg, 1.0rpg. He has spent his entire career in Jordan playing for six other teams: Orthodox, Al Wihdat, Zain, Arena, Ittihad Schools and Kofer Yoba. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Jordanian League for two years in a row (2013 and 2014). Ruqayah was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League 3rd Team between 2012 and 2013. |
