Abdeen re-signs at Al Wihdat

Al Wihdat Amman (Premier League) confirmed in their roster 33-year old international point guard Mahmoud Abdeen (191cm-88kg) for upcoming 2021-22 season. Abdeen has played there for the last two seasons. He helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. 2020-21 was a great year as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League 2nd Team and League Player of the Week.
Abdeen also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon four years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 14.3ppg, 2.3rpg, Assists-3 (5.9apg), FGP: 41.5%, 3PT: 40.5%, FT: 75.0%.
He has played also professionally in Iraq (Al Kahraba), Philippines (SM Beermen) and Jordan (Al Jazeera, Orthodox, Ittihad Schools and ASU Sports Club).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Jordanian League championship title in 2014. Abdeen was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League Guard of the Year back in 2013.
