Premier League Round 1: Al Horiyah lose to Al Jalil - Dec 20, 2016

The Regular Season in Premier League just started.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Horiyah (0-1) on the court of Al Jalil on Monday night. Visitors were rolled over by Al Jalil 93-42. Al Jalil is looking forward to face Anjarah (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Al Horiyah will play against Al Awdah and is hoping to win this game.
Very significant was Orthodox's (#7) 78-point road victory against Deer Abi Sa'ed 100-22. Orthodox will play against Kofer Yoba (#8) in Irbid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Deer Abi Sa'ed will play at home against Al Riyadi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Quite upsetting was Kofer Yoba's 21-point home defeat in a game versus Al Awdah who smashed hosts Al Awdah will meet Al Horiyah (#5) in the next round. Kofer Yoba will play against Orthodox and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 1 winless Anjarah lost to undefeated Al Riyadi on the opponent's court 52-89.

Al Jalil - Al Horiyah 93-42
