Al Ahli topped Orthodox in the decider and captured the League title. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 40-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The former international forward Zane Najdawi (201-1996, college: Citadel, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American forward Gerard Tarin (206-1996, college: Nova SE) chipped in 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international center Mohammad Hussein (210-1990) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds and the former international guard Freddy Ibrahim (190-1996, college: Tampa) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists. Four Orthodox players scored in double figures.
