Al Ahli wins Al Wihdat 3-0 to clinch Jordanian Basketball League Title - Jan 22, 2021

Al Ahli ended the Finals series against Al Wihdat 3-0 to clinch Jordanian Basketball Premier League 2020-2021 title after winning Game 3 that took place in Prince Hamza Hall In Amman on Friday.

On the other hand, Kofer Yoba ended the series against Al Jubaiha 2-1 to clinch 3rd place after winning Game 3

Jordanian Basketball Premier League Finals series were played on format of Best of 5, while the matches series that determined the winner of 3rd place
were played on format of Best of 3.

In the first match Kofer Yoba defeated Al Jubaiha 84-70

Best scorer in the match was Ahmad Obeid captain Al Jubaiha with 32 points while Khaled Abuaboud of Kofer Yoba scored 22 points and added 15 rebounds 3 steals and 4 assists to be named MVP of the match


Yazan Al Taweelcaptain of Kofer Yoba scored 24 points . His colleague Yousef Shatat added 14 points for the team


On the other hand, best scorer Khaldoun Abu Ruqayyah , Malek Kanaan added for Al Jubaiha 12 and 10 points respectively

In the 2nd match Al Ahli defeated Al Wihdat 77-73

Best scorer in the match ofofHashem Abbas Al Ahli with 23 points , on the other hand Ahmad Al hamarsheh of Al Wihdat scores 19 points and added 11 rebounds and 2 assists to be named MVP of the match

Other top scorers in Al Wihdat were Amin Abu Hawwas , Mahmoud Abdeen and Yousef Abu Wazneh with 22. 16 and 9 points respectively

On the other hand other best scorers in AL Ahli were Fadi Ibrahim (Freddy ) ,Mohammad Shaher HusseinandZeid Abbaswith 18. 14 and 12 points respectively



Al Ahli wins Jordan's Cup title for third time in a row - Jan 2, 2021

Al Ahli succeeded in clinching the first title of Jordanian Basketball new season 2020-2021 by winning Jordan's Cup title for 3rd time in a row.

Al Ahli defeated Al Wihdat, 77-62 in the final match that took place in Hamza Hall in Amman on Saturday

The format of Jordan's Cup in the new season is double knockout where the team exits the tournament after losing twice

Only teams of D1 are taking part in the competition this season including Al Ahli, AlJalil-Irbid , Al Jubaiha, Al Wihdat, Kofer Yoba ,Orthodox


Best scorer in the match was Zeid Abbasof Al Ahli with 22 points while his colleague Fadi Ibrahimadded 19 points and Osama Daghlas scored 15 points

Abbas added 9 rebounds and 2 assists to be named MVP of the match

On the other hand best scorers in AL Wihdat were Mahmoud Abdeen with 19 points Amin Abu Hawwaswith 16.
